Do you sacrafice gigs for ultimate reliability? The reason I ask is I'm building a laptop and one of the choices is a 400 gb (2 200 gb) @7200 rpm or 128 gb ( 2 64 bg) solid state hard drives. I think most would probably pick the 400 gb off the bat. But solid state hard drives are always reliable, pretty much. I work in a "high noise" area thats why I lean toward the solid state. The other day it was 120 degrees outside and my car started to have problems. I had my car in cruise control all of a sudden it started slowing down, I would push on the gas peddle and nothing would happen, so I lightly pushed on the gas peddle a few times until it grabbed and sped up. But then it would only slow back down and again I had to push on the gas peddle till it grabbed. Finally i pulled over and it turned itself off. What could cause this? And also if I let my car idle for more than 30 min or so then try to drive it, it turns itself off. How to light a gas log fireplace with a match?

I have one of those fireplaces with a gas log where you turn on the gas and hold a long match to the artificial log to light it. Can I leave my Aquarium light on?

I'm a doctor and I have a giant gourami I've been having him for a very long time. He is housed in a 8ft by 3ft by 4ft(depth) with a custom built filtration coz he poops alot. That in place I had the aquarium designers to fix a good lighting. The aquarium is placed in my clinic where the patients get to see him. The aquarium looks simply stunning with the lights on. I prefer to leave in on throughout the day but I've noticed the water gets slightly warm near the surface. The tank holding the mive volume so heat is probably dissipated before it could reach the bottom. Is it ok? Can I leave the lights on throughout the day until I close my clinic at least(about 10pm). ADD or learning disability?

I have been diagnosed with ADD. I have medicine to take for it, but I dont always take it because of a stomach issue which it upsets. I have a lot of trouble staying on task and staying focused and I tend to space out a lot. I also fidget a lot and tend to need to look over things more than once. I also have reading comprehension problems which wasn't much of an issue until high school. (I am a freshman in college). Does this sound like ADD or a learning disability? My high school wouldn't give me an IEP because they didnt think it was a disability, so I had unofficial accomodations, but I have official ones in college. I feel like I am able to focus less and less and that I am very "out of it" a lot. Any suggestions?

From adoration to spite and hatred for no real reason. I have always been good to her, but this is the point where her disorder first went severe. It was our 4th year of marriage. Blood Clot or Nerve Problem?

So, I have been kinda paranoid these last few days. I've noticed my right leg is weaker, with muscle pain/twitches, it goes from my groin/hip area to around the knee area and gets worse at night or when sitting. I have several risk factors for blood clots: heart condition, multiple surgeries on the calf of the leg that's bothering me, and a rather sedentary lifestyle (though I do get up to pee, get food, and so on during the day). Now, I also have spina bifida, with a tethered cord and lots of scar tissue/fatty tissue around my spine. My spine as curved more to the right lately (the right leg is the problem leg), along with more incontinence issues. I am looking for some guidance on whether or not this is a blood clot. I sometimes feel "twinge" pains in my thigh, but they p quickly. There is no swelling, discoloration, or abnormal temperatures. I HATE doctors and only want to go if I have to. Is this likely a blood clot or am I paranoid?

Do NOT rent a car. Take bus/cable cars everywhere and walk. You will tire of the Wharf in 3 days but the city is so incredible that fun is not hard to find. My wife and I have spend over 170 days visiting there over the 14 years we have been together. I highly recommend renting a bycycle at the Wharf and riding it up and over the famous bridge into Sausalito. cushions? The cushion covers are of a removeable heavy weight cotton fabric over a foam type material covered in batting. The furniture is kept in a covered, screened in area which does get damp when it rains. I have removed the covers and have washed them with detergent and bleach but after a couple of weeks the mold and mildew return. How can I fight dry skin?

I am using the Daniel Kern face regimen, the AHA+ lotion and the Treatment. The treatment is making my face dry out really bad, but it is the most important one for me to use, it does most of the work I can't stop using it. I have tried so many things to prevent my face from drying out, and none of it works! The actual face wash I use is a generic oil-free acne wash, I'm not sure if that is just making my face even worse or not but I've been using it for a long time and just in the past 7 or 8 months has my face been getting really dry. the torquemaster system is a pretty cheesy setup. lots of plastic parts and costly to replace springs when they break. if just the cables are damaged (yes, somebody could have nicked or cut them) then just have the cables replaced. btw, the cables used on that system are the smallest in the industry, just something to think about, and you can't upgrade them to a better cable. if the spring(s) have broken, take the opportunity to switch to a standard torsion system, easier to repair and less costly in the long run.

My courier wont deliver my item?

i bought some sofas of ebay and arranged courier to deliver it. Paid �1000 for sofa and �125 for delivery cost, this courier held onto my item since sunday and keep saying their going to deliver and making new excuses every day, its friday now-still no sofa. Although they are communicating, they tell me we're coming so i book a day off at work, wait at home until 11pm ....no sofa...this has been going on for few days, they are not delivering. If what you were doing seemed to be working before you had to put her in the pasture, then keep doing that. If you find something that seems to work, you need to keep it up so that she learns that that's unacceptable behavior. It sounds to me like she just needs an attitude adjustment lol. I've found that raising your voice and jerking the halter are usually the best things to do in those types of situations and then when they come back down, turning in the tight circles and backing up lets them know that they were wrong and helps get them back in line and listening to you. Hope this helps!

Lithofin do a product called Lithofin MMP (Marble Polishing Powder - which is oxalic acid based). It is a professional product and maybe hard for a DIY'er to get hold of much less use correctly. I would suggest using a proper stone restoration company for the best results. Once restored I would use the correct sealant and maintenance product regularly. If it is close to outside access I'd also put mats down to catch any grit etc which will obviously do the floor no good at all.

Is it worth it to transfer to another university if the teaching style doesn't suit me?

Are you in your first year? If so, you maybe more used to the school style of education but at University they encourage self-learning and its tough to start out with. I went to Stirling recently and had lots of lectures and home study with only one or two tutorials (which were basically incomprehensible) and no workshops. I did have lab time as I studied science but it was a bit of a joke really as it wasn't very in-depth for most of the courses. Manchester is a well respected university so I suppose I would urge you to keep at it and keep trying as one day the penny just drops and you start to get much better at studying and getting the most out of lectures. Most of the other universities will be the same too so it may not be worthwhile moving to another one and then finding you are in the same boat. A good book that might help is the Good Study Guide (I think its an Open Uni text book) but I can't remember the author. Its a cracking book to get you started and helps with all manner of study techniques. Learning how to learn is the whole point of the first couple of years at Uni and its a daunting task alongside trying to absorb all the information coming at you from all angles! For the most part, you sound like you need to stop worrying as it could be blocking your progress. Perhaps you could form your own study group? Often the informal groups are the most productive and helpful. I did this for some of the tougher science projects and I loved it and learned loads and hopefully I helped others too! Good luck whatever you decide.

I didn't look at your links, but betta fish don't need a very big tank to servive. I would get a small 5 gallon tank, and remeber you can't put more the one in the same tank. Also when putting a new fish into a new tank you should fill the tank up with water and let it sit over night before putting the fish in. This allows the water in the tank to settle.Plus if you take the fish from one tank and put it in another the water temp may not be the same, and it can shock the fish.

Ok, so I was talking to this guy, everything was going ok, until he just up and left me. There was a whole story about him still having feelings for some girl and stuff, so he very rudely told me off.
