2004 Ford F150 FX4 overdrive problem?

I replaced my less than a year ago and took it back to the shop last week because it was slipping. Mech. said it was the valvebody embly inside the . He ended up replacing a broken spring inside the and gave it back to me. The truck feels different and when placed in O/D I cannot notice any difference. Anyone know at what speeds my truck should shift into 2nd, 3rd?...2nd gear seems long to go into 3rd gear, making my engine feel sluggish.
