Tak and the Power of Juju Help!!!!?

I'm in the mountain top, and I'm supposed to put the four animals in the spots, but the emu fell down into the pit by where the fish are and I don't know how to get it out!! It can't jump up a wall or anything! Please help!! Also I use the PS2 so idk if that makes a difference.
