How long would a 15-year-old in upstate Connecticut go to juvenile for for selling marijuana?

I think my friend may need to learn a lesson. He's ruining his life and relationships. But I don't want him to get locked up for like a rediculous amount of time. I just want to help. Nothing else seems to be working.
