I Need Help with a Frankenstein/Monster Fiction Connection?

Did Frankenstein's monster help spawn any of the monsters we now know today (i.e. zombies, vampires, werewolves)? I don't need a detailed explanation, or anything like that. So long as someone can provide me with where to find a link between modern monster fiction and Frankenstein's monster then I can write my paper how I want. Any help is appreciated.
