Isn't Shingles a type of ?

Shingles is the result of having had chicken pox or the zooster virus. Once you have chicken pox you are immune but the virus lies in the nerve roots. When something triggers the virus it can travel to the nerve endings and cause a case of shingles which can happen multiple times but to answer the question shingles does come from a branch of the family.
